Damage & Defect Claims
7-Day Reporting Window
If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must contact customerservice@bathatelier.com within 7 days of delivery. Claims submitted after 7 days are not eligible, no exceptions.
If you do not plan to install immediately, please still unbox and inspect within 7 days to verify the product's condition.
What to Include in Your Claim
Incomplete claims will be paused until all information is received; the 7-day window does not pause for missing documentation.
- Order number
- Photos of: the outer shipping box (all sides), the shipping label, the inner packaging, the damage area in clear focus, and a wide shot of the full product
- A short written description of the issue
Resolution
We respond within 2 business days with one of the following, at our discretion:
- Free replacement of the damaged item or part
- Partial refund if you choose to keep the item as-is
- Full refund if the item is unusable (return may or may not be required)
Important Limitations
- Do not install a damaged or defective item. Once installed, the damage claim is forfeited.
- Claims submitted after 7 days from delivery are not eligible.
- Natural variation in color, grain, texture, or finish is not a defect.
- Minor surface marks visible only at certain angles or under direct light are not defects.
- Cosmetic packaging marks, dust, or fingerprints are not defects.
